Why It’s Important to Collect Data on Group Member Satisfaction The need to conduct data on the level of satisfaction within the members of the clinical social work groups is crucial. It can assist the facilitators to know whether the group is achieving its objectives and whether the members are supported, respected and safe. The satisfaction data is an excellent way through which clear feedback is received on what is performing well and what could be done to enhance the performance. In the absence of such feedback, facilitators might not address issues of substance, which influence group participation, cohesion and outcomes.
