In addition to providing guidance, the Sea Witch also sells potions and elixirs and gives her clients a discount on these products. Introduction Ethical Decision-Making is an important commitment within the healthcare sector as well as the human services field. In an ethical dilemma situation, the experts or professionals are very often faced with situations that contradict the ethical principles and the legal requirements or codes. Ethical principles are considered within this context as guides for the professionals involved, although at times the professionals are required to critically assess them thoroughly. This essay takes into consideration six cases in the framework of the fairy tale adaptations that are used to demonstrate the prevalent ethical concerns that can be associated with the legal concerns that emerge in the healthcare advising process. The ethical dilemmas within both cases are identified, the relevant ethical principles are given emphasis, while the legal issues that may arise are also highlighted.
