Philosophy Statement Technology Use The philosophical approach to applying technology in the 1st-grade classroom is founded on balance, engagement, and developmental appropriateness. Technology is also an aid that supplements the learning process instead of substituting for the practical discovery. I will use interactive digital resources like educational applications, virtual experiments, and digital stories to establish curiosity and consolidate key ideas in math and science classes. Examples include simple virtual science simulations may be studied with the help of tablets, and math games that help to develop a sense of problems and numeracy can be played. In order to make learning enjoyable and meaningful, as well as to make sure that screen time is still purposeful and limited, technology will be employed.
